Childrens
rugs and especially baby rugs collect the dirt quickly
-- So which type should you choose for easy cleaning ?
As the name
suggests childrens rugs are rugs designed specially for children.
This covers a range of styles from baby rugs through to older
kids rugs. Childrens rugs are available in a huge range of exciting
designs, such as baby rugs that show your babies favorite nursery
scene, fish rugs for junior children and sports rugs for the
teenage sports fan
Childrens rugs, and especially baby rugs, need to be resistant
to staining, to make it is easy to remove the inevitable drinks,
paint, food.... that makes its way onto the floor. The best
material to choose for an easy to clean, stain resistant rug
is to select one made from a synthetic fiber such as nylon
or polypropylene. To make cleaning even easier the length
of the pile should be kept as short as possible and should
ideally be less than a 1/3 of an inch.
When choosing childrens rugs it is important to get your
children involved with the selection process. Ask them what
type of rug they prefer, and let them take an active part
in the buying process. Obviously when buying baby rugs you
will have to make the choice yourself, but it is still a good
idea to buy the rug you think your baby would like and not
the one you like for yourself.
